Canva Brush

Canva's vision-language model that edits an existing design from a prompt, from one line of text to a whole deck.

Canva Research published Canva Brush on October 29, 2026. It reads a design's layout and layers and makes the change you ask for. It works in an agentic loop: it writes and runs code to change design elements, checks the page, then decides the next step. Results stay fully editable in Canva. It powers supported design edits in Canva AI for Canva Pro subscribers starting October 29, with wider availability coming soon. To use it, open a design, or attach or link one in Canva AI, and pick Brush in the Canva AI dropdown. Canva's numbers: up to 69% faster on general design editing tasks and 46% lower cost per edit than Canva's previous design agent. Coming next, per Canva: Brand Kit support, referencing attachments, and better handling of image-heavy layouts. It is part of Canva Pro. Check Canva's site for plan pricing. It launched a week after Canva Craft, Canva's image model. Last checked October 30, 2026.
