Cursor Agent SDK
Cursor's framework for defining agents in code (Markdown prompts, TypeScript tools) and deploying them to Cursor or your own servers.
Cursor published the Agent SDK on October 20, 2026. It is the framework Cursor uses for its own managed agents, including Bugbot, Security Reviewer, and Rollouts. Prompts are Markdown. Tools are TypeScript functions. It includes built-in evals and event replay. The command agent-sdk deploy deploys to Cursor's infrastructure with one command. You can also run it yourself. Each agent is a single Node process that can go in a container. Agents can react to pull request events from GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket. Agents can hand tasks to other agents and split work among subagents. The blog says it is generally available today (October 20). The changelog marks 0.3.0 (October 23, 2026) as the GA release. Cursor posted that the Agent SDK is now available on X on October 26. No separate price is stated. Check Cursor's site. Last checked October 28, 2026.
