dsh-superagent
DeepSeek's open research prototype of a proactive coding agent that takes requests from GitHub and answers with pull requests.
DeepSeek published the dsh-superagent prototype on October 31, 2026, the day the GitHub repo was created. It is a proactive coding agent for one GitHub repository, packaged as a bundle for DeepSeek Harness. It listens to GitHub and, optionally, Feishu. When an allowed person asks for work, it opens a work item, works in its own agent session and directory, and answers in the original conversation, for example with a pull request. A web panel shows what needs a person. DeepSeek's design goal is to take as little human attention as possible. It acts only when asked, or when a rule the team wrote allows it. DeepSeek labels it a research prototype for reference only, not an official DeepSeek product. Much of the engineering was done by coding agents. It may contain bugs, and it is not identical to DeepSeek's internal version. Setup is done by asking your coding agent to follow SETUP.md in the repo. The license is MIT. It is free.
